Reasons why the alarm may not trigger when wet
If your DRI Sleeper alarm does not trigger when your child wets the bed, the alarm itself may have been damaged.
Check for rattling inside the alarm
If the alarm rattles when it is gently shaken, this can indicate that internal components have been damaged or become loose.
In this situation, a replacement alarm will need to be purchased.
Check the battery compartment
Open the battery holder and inspect the area around the battery. Rust marks or white oxidation can indicate that liquid has entered the alarm.
Any liquid that gets inside the alarm can damage the electronic components and cause the alarm to fail. In this situation, a replacement alarm will need to be purchased.
Important: The Urosensor is designed to detect moisture, but the alarm base itself should always be protected from liquid.
